"Among the Leaves"

I designed and made this costume as an ode to my hometown and the brilliant colors of the leaves in fall.  I made a satin top with butterfly sleeves, and dyed in it black tea to get a more earthy tone.  The skirt is covered in dozens of small petals and leaves, each one painted with a golden shimmer to add an air of whimsy.
